The whole thing is pretty damn silly, I think. I mean, the internet is just a medium. What people do with that medium will vary. It's like in music--music is all pretty much the same, when you get down to the mechanics of it. Instruments and melodies and lyrics and rhythms. Good points! If you want another example: I got into webcomics by a forwarded link to <A HREF="http://project-apollo.net/text/rpg.html" REL="nofollow">a videogame spoof page</A>. It's sheer coincidence that the maintainer of the page drew a webcomic.<BR/><BR/>Not only that, but reading webcomics is what caused me to visit my local comic book store. And buy comics!
